With a lethal combination of top notch aerodynamics, a super lightweight structure, and a super powerful engine, the Gumpert Apollo S is part of the super exclusive list of being among the world’s fastest cars. How this is achieved is something to marvel.
The body and chassis is made mostly out of carbon fiber and aluminum, a super durable yet super light combination of materials. This allows the Apollo S to go to the weighing scales at a weight of less than 2700 pounds, a super light weight given that this car is a legit supercar.
In addition, Gumpert has constructed the Apollo’s body to be as aerodynamically efficient as possible, that they have claimed that you can drive this car upside down on a tunnel at around 300 kilometers per hour.

The heart of the Apollo S is a 4200cc V8 engine that is developed by Gumpert. Adding 2 turbochargers in the mix, this engine produces a massive 900 horsepower. This is enough for the Apollo to hustle to a hundred kilometers per hour in 3 seconds flat (or even less) and push on up to a top speed of 360 kilometers per hour.
A competition grade suspension allows for breathtaking cornering performance. Huge disc brakes allows for strong stopping skill no matter what the speed. And 19 inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires allow for maximum grip and stability even at speeds of over 200 miles an hour.
The Gumpert Apollo S goes all in to become one of the fastest cars in the world. And they have delivered as promised.
Spyker Cars wants to proudly present their Spyker C8 Laviolette LM85 – the road version of its GT2 LeMans car. The LM85 is an advanced mid-engine, two-seat sports car. Its lightweight aluminum body construction and an uncompromising engineering package are in the LM85. The all aluminum Audi 4.2 Litre V8 engine produces 400 bhp. The use of those aluminum parts and other lightweight materials are the results to the impressive power-to-weight ratio underline the GT2 racing heritage of this car.

The interior of the Spyker C8 is pimped out with black leather and alcantara, which is meant to reduce the light reflection during racing. The black floor mats are made of fire protective material, finished with orange piping and the LM85 logo embroidered. The extra features that come equipped with this car are their very own Spyker Chronoswiss 24H Pilot Watch with an orange crocodile strap.

A lot of super cars are produced almost every year by the most famous car giants in the world. No wonder the competition to come out with the fastest breed of super cars becomes more interesting. British car manufacturer, Ascari, produced the powerful Ascari A10 in commemoration of its 10th anniversary in the industry. The Ascari A10 is a road car version of the KZ1-R race car that competed in the Spanish GT Championship. Former F1 designer Paul Brown penned this third road car that Ascari has produced in Banbury, England. The first two super road cars were the KZ1 and the Ecosse. The new A10 will have drivers enjoying the performance of a modified BMW 5.0 V8 engine that produces 625 bhp that is delivered by a six speed manual gearbox and standard manual transmission. With the same carbon chassis like the KZ1, it features a new bodywork and suspension that is racing derived. It also has a fire suppression system and is lightweight at 1,280 kilograms. The A10 accelerates at 60 miles per hour in less than 3 seconds and runs at a top speed of 220 miles per hour. Its body is a bit similar to its cousin but is not entirely identical. The single headlights were swapped and now sports three projector style lamps with the lower driving lights gone. It has a lower front skirt and wider apertures. The curvy carbon fiber wing is large and its meshed louvres were cut into the rear for cooling purposes. A radiator that is centrally located just above its rear venturi duct adds a fresh look.

The alloy spokes and carbon fiber rims have center lock fittings. Michelin Tires provided the rubber for this super car with a 265/35 front ZR18 and 345/50 ZR 18 for the rear. Brakes are ventilated by ceramic discs and are clamped by racing calipers on the front and back. The mid-mounted machine is similar to that of the Kz1's naturally aspirated V8; however, with the reprofiled cams and brand new rods and pistons, the A10 produces 625 bhp at an rpm of 7500. The A10 also features lightweight racing seats, carbon fiber door panels, electric windows, climate control and a remote central lock system. The super car proves to be more than just a revamp of the racing model KZ1.Ascari announced that only 50 units were to be produced for this version and will be sold with a price tag of 350,000 GBP. This limited availability certainly puts the Ascari A10 on the list of many collectors' items. The engineers of Ascari Banbury ensured that the 220 mph car will deliver a world-class performance like that of the Pagani, Mosler and Koenigsegg. The next generation dream drive from Ascari underwent rigorous testing prior to its 2006 release.

Although it lacks the luxuries of soundproofing and air conditioning the car still features hardcore fire extinguisher kits and FIA approved integral roll cage. Unlike the FXX Enzo, you can legally drive this beauty on the road.

Whether you’re looking for a more efficient and ecologically friendly car or a new ride that can satisfy your need for speed, The 2010 Lotus Evora 414E hybrid concept is one car that you should definitely watch out for. This new concept car has been making headlines as it promises to focus on using environmentally friendly technology without sacrificing performance. This is one hybrid car that is unlike any of those slow hybrids that you see on the market today. This beauty is capable of producing 408 horsepower and a 590 lb- ft of torque just by using electricity.

The Evora 414E is an extended range electricity vehicle, which means that it can run of batteries for a distance of up to 35 miles before it kickstarts an engine to provide it more power. It also has 2 electric motors which makes it more reliable than all the other electric car models out there. And even though the lotus Evora 414E may run on lithium ion batteries most of the time, lotus has integrated a HALOsonic technology into the car to make it sound just like your ordinary car.

The 414E hybrid concept looks like any standard Evora, except for the circuitry that has been carefully embedded into it. Though it may take a while before it’s slated for production, expect it to roam the streets in 5 years tops.
A four-seater concept car designed by Julliana Cho for Porsche, the 2011 Porsche 929 Designer Concept was produced to operate as eco-friendly as feasible, you would not on average assume that Porsche can be the most environmentally-friendly car manufacturer. However, this inventiveness seems to revolutionize the way we perceive the company.

The 4-door coupe is by now standard practice in car design. The Porsche 928, Lamborghini Espada and Ferrari 330 GTC all hold fast to this blueprint with remarkable outcome.Julliana Cho’s Porsche 929 concept combines sleek styling and environmental awareness. The 929’s proportions is shorter than the Porsche Panamera but lengthier than the 911.

The car concept from Cho will require a thinking man to enjoy it aesthetically. This attempt by Porsche to enter the fray of “Eco-friendly” vehicles is seen as positive from different quarters of the automotive community.
The 2025 Bugatti Aerolithe Concept is the work of Douglas Hogg, a Coventry graduate. The design draws its inspiration from the original Bugatti Aerolithe concept showcased at the 1935 Paris Motorshow.

The old Bugatti Aerolithe concept was also the inspiration of the Atlantic 57SC.Designed 75 years after the original Aerolithe was launched in Paris, Douglas Hogg has introduced the modern interpretation of the design. The car looks quite futuristic, despite being based on a design that was made quarter of a century back. Hogg suggests that he has used a minimalistic approach in pure surfacing for the design and applied a principle of Ettore Bugatti for Automotive design.

The car design represents simplicity, elegance, and intelligence. The design follows a smooth flow, uncluttered by door handles, external mirrors or spoilers. It's in complete harmony with advanced aerodynamics.

The underbody aerodynamics are an important feature of the design that allows two air channels to traverse the entire length of the body, funneling air from the front of the body to the diffuser at the rear, producing enough down force in the process to keep the car glued to the tarmac at high speeds. Some of the key features of the design include aeronautics inspired split canopy doors, split windshield, pronounced windows, bullet proof windows, lightweight construction material and Bugatti's signature front grille. The car is powered by a Microturbine-battery hybrid powertrain. Microturbines do not power the wheels directly and merely function as a generator to charge up the batteries on the run and acts as a range extender for an otherwise purely electric vehicle. A single fill of the tank can make this car run up to 800 miles.

The Bugatti Aerolithe design is a great concept that showcases the design elements that may inspire the cars of tomorrow. It's a great tribute to Ettore Bugatti, who was way ahead of his time when he launched the first Aerolithe.
